Kumon Glenwood, situated in the FNB Building on the first floor, was established in 2018.
The centre aims to develop independent, proactive and capable individuals. The centre offers Maths and English programmes that follow the Kumon method, which has enjoyed success for years.
The classes are led by the Instructor, Rashie Maniram, who is passionate about learning and skills development. Rashie strongly believes in making a difference in the community and hopes that this will transcend regional borders to make an impact on the South African nation as a whole. Rashie has had 13 years of experience in Skills Development and is committed to developing independent, educated learners by tapping into their hidden potential.
By studying the Maths and English programmes, students develop their academic skills. By closely observing HOW they attempt their work, the Instructor aims to develop their independent learning skills and to strive to increase their self-confidence as they overcome one small challenge at a time.
Through the unique Kumon method, children are supported to reach an advanced level of study. By studying beyond the international standard for their age, they are exposed to work that has never been taught to them before, thus encouraging them to explore the unfamiliar rather than to fear it. With Kumon, children are best prepared to succeed in an increasingly global community.
The Glenwood centre welcomes you to start this exciting and rewarding journey of self-discovery.
