The Mafikeng Centre was taken over by Hamida Ghoor in 2001.
The centre is centrally situated in a cul de sac in town and provides a quiet and safe environment for students and adequate parking for parents. It is also close to many schools and pre-schools in the area.
Students attend centre twice a week at a time that suits their schedule. Currently, students range in age from four to nineteen years. The centre caters for students with a varying range of abilities: from students with learning disabilities to high ability students. The Instructor and team of four assistants ensure that all students get the encouragement and necessary interventions to develop into excellent students. The centre consists of 2 areas. One area is exclusively for English reading, early learners and supplementary exercises. The other is for the study of Maths. The atmosphere in the centre is safe, positive and encouraging.
