Montana Park Study Centre is conveniently located in a centre just off Montana Park. The Montana Family Market has created a family shopping atmosphere where you can run a few errands or have coffee at one of the many restaurants while you wait for your child.  Our office is away from the buzz of the busy market to allow a safe learning environment for students.

At Kumon Montana Park we aim to develop the potential of each student to the maximum, regardless of their ability, age or culture.  We always remember that every child is different. Your child will progress at their own pace, enabling them to achieve success.

Using the Kumon Method, we build confidence and develop study skills by means of the Maths and English Programmes. We nurture each student by improving the way they work and think.  Starting with building basic foundations, we allow students to first adjust to the self-learning method before moving on to more difficult work.  We encourage students to take responsibility for their own progress and the way they advance through the program. With our guidance and knowledge of the program we use worksheets to help student reach work beyond their current school level. This is how they become excellent students and, one day, responsible adults.

At our centre you will find well trained, dedicated and caring staff with a clear, goal orientated vision for your child. Our centre operates within an open plan facility that allows staff to observe the students doing their daily worksheets.   We are extremely flexible, open daily and on weekends.

About the Instructor

My Kumon journey started in 2015, with my child starting her own journey and me assisting at an established Kumon Centre. Working with the students and developing their potential has been and is still part of my journey.  I am a life-long learner myself, and am always eager to utilize new methods of learning in the centre.

Seeing how students developed on the programme is what inspired me to open my own centre and allow even more children the benefit of studying the Kumon Method.  I love to see the way students work at their own pace, consolidating where necessary and move forward, in a logical and well-planned manner, when ready.  I have seen so many students grow in confidence and become excellent by following the daily study routine.   I am enthusiastic about self-development, for myself, my students and my staff.  I try to cultivate a sense of enjoyment in my students.

As a parent I know that we all have high standards for our children.  I take great pride in knowing that Kumon can play a vital part in your child’s future.  Students that have completed the Kumon Programme know what it takes to succeed in life.  To be successful in school, in university and in life, takes hard work and commitment.   Cultivate a sense of achievement for hard work in your child by starting them on this journey today.

Popular Questions

Students can start learning with Kumon from age two upwards. We currently have students as young as two years old studying with us, ranging all the way up to those about to go to university; Kumon helps children of any age and any ability. The sooner children begin, the earlier they can start developing skills to gain the greatest cumulative benefit; as soon as you feel your family is ready to make the commitment to long-term study, Kumon will be ready to help you achieve your goal.
Kumon offers much more than extra lessons and differs from traditional teaching in the classroom. Rather than preparing children for a particular test or assessment, Kumon empowers students to learn for themselves, through individualised instruction and carefully developed worksheets.

As well as developing key skills in maths and English, each Kumon student will work towards building their independent learning skills and confidence in their own abilities. This means that a Kumon student will not be dependent on – or limited by – the skills and knowledge of others.
Kumon is a self-learning programme with each student receiving regular support from their Instructor. The carefully developed worksheets teach students how to find the answer for themselves, whilst their Instructor offers guidance when necessary. The key role of each Kumon Instructor is to observe their students working, either in the centre or their online class, making sure that work is set at the right level and that they are developing at the right pace.
Both, and every child in between. This is because of our individualised approach to education, which always asks the question: "What is best for this individual child?" Following a diagnostic test, a study plan is set to develop the ability of the child and to progress them beyond the Kumon International Standard (an international approximation of their school level) regardless of their starting point. Kumon welcomes students with special educational needs, gifted and talented children, and all those who believe they can achieve more and fulfil their potential.
As a global programme, Kumon does not follow a school curriculum, but rather is complementary to curricula across the world. The primary aim of the Kumon Method is to develop independent learning skills. These independent learning skills enhance the students’ performance right across the school curriculum. Kumon operates at exactly the right level for each student – regardless of their age – ensuring that work set extends and develops their skills, confidence and ability.
