If successful following your orientation meeting, you will be invited to meet with your local Kumon Team to discuss and put together your business plan and the vision for your study centre. Before opening you will be trained in the Kumon Method of Learning for our maths and English programmes over a two week period at our offices in Johannesburg. After opening you will continue to take part in regular ongoing training alongside other Instructors to deepen your knowledge of the Kumon Method of Learning.
This is dependent on the market conditions of the area where you open your centre, your ability to grow your business, managing your costs effectively, and making good use of your venue. The Kumon Team will be working with you to maximise the profitability of your study centre.
As a Kumon franchisee you will receive advice and information from your Area Manager and the Kumon Brand and Marketing Team on marketing and promoting your business. Instructors are able to use our standard brand and promotional materials as well as have access to a design team that can help with customised marketing materials. Although marketing activity is up to each individual Instructor to implement, we are here to advise and help. You will benefit from our national marketing, the Kumon website, your own study centre web page, advice on social media, and new enquiries which come through to us being forwarded to you.
